Scrotal Lifting

New Cosmetic Surgery
Gravity will have its way on the human body. Over time, particular parts may droop. This causes distress to some people, who take corrective measures with surgical help. For example, women may desire breast lifts to give their profiles a more buoyant and youthful look.
Men, though, have not commonly used surgery to fight against the ravages of gravitational pull--until now. The new option is called scrotoplasty. That means tightening the skin of the scrotum so that it and its contents rise up. The Daily Mail quotes Dr. Gerard Lamb, a cosmetic surgeon in the UK:
'It's a relatively straightforward thing to do, albeit in a sensitive area.
He said the main motivator behind the procedure is to reverse one of the many unwelcome side effects of ageing.
Both male and female sexual organs shrink with age and scrotums are not exempt from the general sagging seen elsewhere. […]
'It's mainly self-consciousness as the procedure is only really going to change someone aesthetically.
'It's those who are trying to keep themselves looking and feeling good for as long as possible.'

Middle School Teacher Arrested for Sexual Abuse After 13-Year-Old Student Allegedly Gets Her Pregnant

by Gina Mei
From Cosmopolitan
A 24-year-old English teacher at Stovall Middle School in Houston, Texas, has been arrested and charged with continuous sexual abuse of a child after allegedly engaging in a sexual relationship with her 13-year-old student. Representatives for the Montgomery County Police believe that at one point, Alexandria Vera was also pregnant with the teenager's child.
According to court documents, the teacher met the student during a summer session at the school in 2015 but only began engaging in a relationship with him in the fall after he was assigned to her class. The pair allegedly first had sex at the boy's parents' house while they were at work, and the student later introduced Vera to his family as his girlfriend. Reportedly, his parents were very accepting of the relationship and even allowed the child to stay over at Vera's home on a regular basis.
Vera claims that she and the student "had sex on almost a daily basis at her home," and that she became pregnant with his child in January 2016. While she says that the student's parents were "very supportive and excited" about the baby, she decided to have an abortion after Child Protective Services showed up at the school to investigate her relationship with the student.
While Vera initially denied having any involvement with the teen, she eventually confessed to the relationship and now claims that the two are in love. She turned herself into police Wednesday and is currently being held at Montgomery County Jail.

'Rude' bear statue removed from near China securities HQ

A statue of a cartoon bear has been removed from outside China's securities regulator after complaints that it was making a middle-finger gesture at the building.
Statues of two characters from the popular Boonie Bears cartoon had been installed opposite the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) headquarters in Beijing, as part of an attraction marking Children's Day.
But it wasn't long before one bear's paws caught the attention of passers-by, with two outstretched digits apparently aimed at the government building. Both statues were subsequently taken down and replaced with cartoon monkeys. Zhu Lei, who was in charge of the Boonie Bear attraction, says the CSRC called to complain about the bear's "impolite hand gesture".
They said it was "as if it was putting its middle finger up at them", he said. "But a bear only has four fingers, it would not give a middle finger." The gesture may not have been the only issue though, the term "bear market" refers to falling share prices and widespread selling, and mid-June marks a year since China's financial market turmoil began. Mr Zhu says the Boonie Bears have now been consigned to a store room in order to avoid any further trouble.

Naked meth-fueled antics led to couple's arrest

A woman and her husband are facing charges after New Jersey State Police say she stripped naked in a car dealership bathroom and refused to come out while under the influence of meth amphetamines. In a Facebook post entitled, "Naked, Meth-Fueled Antics Lead to Arrest of Sussex Couple," police said its announcement of the arrests of Kimberly Shields, 45, and David Shields, 58, both of Sussex, was "less of a press release and more a public service announcement on the dangers of drugs."
"You know, we don't say drugs are bad for no reason," police said in the post. "Now, we're not doctors, and we can't give you a complicated narrative filled with big, fancy medical terms, but what we can tell you is that troopers have extensive experience dealing with people on illegal drugs and the resulting hazards that go along with drug use." Kimberly Shields arrived at the dealership where she works at about 12:13pm on May 31, entered the bathroom, stripped naked and refused to come out, police said.
State troopers were able to arrest her without incident, but, shortly after her arrest, her husband arrived on the scene and "made it a point to interfere with the investigation," police said. "As a result, Mr. Shields went from not having to be arrested to being arrested," police said. Kimberly Shields was charged with possession of methamphetamine and being criminally under the influence. She was taken to Newton Memorial Hospital for further evaluation.
David Shields was charged with obstruction and released pending an appearance in court. "Again, we can't give you a complicated narrative filled with big, fancy medical terms, but what we can tell you is that meth may make you go to your workplace, barricade yourself in a bathroom, strip naked and refuse to come out," police said. "Is that a good enough explanation?" Charges are mere accusations and the suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty, they added.

Town installs giant inflatable turd to deter bad dog owners

The town of Torrelodones in Spain has dumped an inflatable giant poo in a public square as part of a campaign to rid its streets of dog mess.
The blow up sculpture, which is three meters wide and over two meters high is designed to serve as a reminder to pet-owners to clean up after their pooches. Authorities in the town of 22,000 residents in the foothills of the SIerra Norte just 25 km northwest of Madrid claim that council services have to rid the streets of up to half a ton of feces left by irresponsible dog owners each day.
"Torrelodones has around 6,000 dogs and let’s say they do an average of three dumps a day, that is around 15,000 separate poos producing some 500kg of excrement a day. Many owners just don’t pick up," Ángel Guirao, spokesman for the town council explained. "That is more or less what this inflatable represents, the amount of poo left on the streets across the town each day. We are asking dog owners, in a fun non-aggressive way, to realize the importance of clearing up after their pets."
The town has also installed permanent smaller 'poo sculptures' in brown painted concrete in those areas most affected by deposits. They are accompanied by a sign that reads: "This is one of the greatest obstacles to community spirit in our town. If you own a dog, please help us." Councils across Spain are struggling to tackle dog owners who fail to clean up after their pets, with several towns introducing the use of DNA testing on feces to track down the culprits.
